A loyal PSS Sleman supporter, Brigata Curva Sud or who is usually called BCS, took off the jersey worn by the players after the match between Pss Sleman and Persita Tangerang in Week 28 which was held last Thursday, March 2. Persita Tangerang as the host managed to bend PSS Sleman after conceding 2 goals in the first half. PSS try to catch up after being awarded a penalty which was executed by a player from Ukraine, Yevhen Bokhasvili but PSS was unable to find another goal which led to a 2-1 win for the hosts at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang.
This defeat itself is not the first for Sleman because PSS has lost 5 times in a row where out of 5 matches, they did not get any points which made the defeat more than the defeat suffered by Rans FC which is now at the bottom of the BRI Liga 1 standings. After the defeat For the fifth time, thousands of PSS Sleman or Brigata Curva Sud supporters who went to Tangerang shouted at the players and coaching staff due to the team's poor performance. Supporters also refused to sing the PSS Sleman anthem and asked the players to take off their jerseys because they considered it "not deserve" to wear the pride of the Sleman.
After this match, PSS will evaluate the players and coaches to improve team performance. PSS coach, Seto Nurdianto, who brought PSS to glory in 2017 by bringing it up to league 1, is likely to be kicked out if there is no change in the team's performance. After this, PSS will have a tough match against Bhayangkara FC where Bhayangkara has won 4 times in a row.
